The Old Mill Square
Built in 1830, The Old Mill is the only building in Pigeon Forge listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You can watch candy and fudge being made, potters at work, take a tour of the mill, or just stroll the banks of Little Pigeon River. Did we mention shopping? The Old Mill Square features five unique, local area shops including The Old Mill General Store, Iron Mountain Blacksmith & Craftshop, Pigeon River Pottery, Sassafras, and the Old Forge Distillery. Make sure you stop by the The Old Mill Farmhouse Kitchen while you’re there! With so much to see and do, you’ll have to schedule an entire day for it all.
The Island in Pigeon Forge
The Island is another one of the best places to go shopping. Just a short walk from Willow Brook Lodge, you’ll find over 60 stores selling everything from moonshine to fine arts. With free parking and entry, spending the day browsing such unique stores as The Sneaky Squirrel, Big Rock Candy Kitchen, and Emery’s 5 & 10 will be one you won’t soon forget.
Three Bears General Store
Less than a half mile from Willow Brook Lodge, Three Bears General Store is an icon that has been serving the area for almost 35 years. Not only can you visit the live bear habitat where you can feed one of their five live bears, you’ll also spend the day in one of the most unique shops anywhere. This 40,000 square foot store offers items ranging from Make-UR-Bear, to locally made jellies, jams and souvenirs. One stop here and you’ll be returning for years to come.
