Pigeon Forge definitely isn’t short of things for you to do when you visit. There’s so many great things to do in the area, but The Island, one of Pigeon Forge’s newest attractions, is one of the best places to visit. Plus, we are located within a couple of minutes drive from The Island or a 10-15 minute walk. These are a few of our favorite things to do at The Island that you can’t experience all in one place at home!
1. The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel
You can see this modern-day ferris wheel for forever when it’s lit up at night. The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel is located in the heart of the Island, and will be a great excuse to
get off your feet for a bit. Once you get to the top, you can enjoy an amazing view of Pigeon Forge and the mountains around you.
2. Ole Smoky Moonshine
Get your I.D. ready because if you’re 21 or older you can try samples of the different types of moonshine that’s available in store. The flavors, and strength of the alcohol, range from proof 100+ Original flavor to a lower proof like Blackberry. You’ll love sampling some of the flavors. 3.The Escape Game
This timed attraction tests your critical thinking skills and your teamwork with other people as you try to escape the room you are in within 1 hour. The clues you can receive will help you escape, but after you use 3 they start adding extra minutes to your time. But don’t worry, this isn’t an issue because it only counts toward the leaderboards anyway!

4. Alcatraz East Crime Museum
Do you enjoy watching crime and law shows? Step inside the Alcatraz East Museum and learn about infamous killers, mobsters, and thieves like Jesse James, Ted Bundy, and many more. The museum has five different areas, full of authentic artifacts.
On your first visit, you definitely won’t run out of things to do at the Island in Pigeon Forge. There are so many more awesome shops and restaurants you can visit, and there is plenty of seating around the fountain that is synched to the music playing over the speakers. You may also luck up on some local artists when they perform at the stage near Ole Smoky Moonshine.
